Base Types in TierraMon

Let's talk about what the four main types of TierraMon are! Based on what type of stones and metals inside of each TierraMon will effect what it can do. How the types work is each of the four types, correspond with one of the four move types. I'll explain more as I describe each!

Obsidian Hearts - Obsidian is among the sharpest natural occurring materials on earth, so TierraMon that have a large amount of Obsidian in them are aggressive. More fragile but incredibly strong, they have a bonus to Offensive moves, and a penalty to defensive moves. They are generally more fragmented and jagged. A powerful Obsidian Heart will be one that has a Special or Magic that either helps them survive, or combos with their Offensive move. But none of the moves should ever be ignored, despite a disadvantage to Defensive, there are powerful moves that may allow them stay alive the turn they need to get the win.

Topaz Hearts - TierraMon that are called Topaz Hearts are made of the hardest of stone. Solid and strong, they have powerful Defensive moves, but weaker Offensive moves. These creatures are excellent in situations where the enemy burns its own life force to deal damage, as the Topaz may outlast. Topaz are perhaps the most likely to use their weakest move, if they don't have a good Special or Magical move that does damage, they may resort to their Offensive move despite the buff. Fights with them will take longer if TierraMon that can counter their survivability with Magic or Special moves aren't used.

Crystal Hearts - Channeling vast amounts of TierraFragments are the Crystal hearts. As expected, they have increased power in Magic, but weaker Specials. Magic and special probably seem similar, but they have very specific rules on what they do. Magic excels at changing the stats of the enemy, and can heal by either doing damage to the enemy, or burning own stats. So Crystals may be pulled out when an enemy has a single overwhelming stat, and need help to be brought down a peg.

Silver Hearts - Metal is special where it can take just about any form as it melts and reforms, so silver is strong in Special, but weak in Magic. Special excels at doing damage, while also changing their own stats. Strong, elegant, and strange, Silver Heart Terramon will be the most likely to "run away" with battles. At the start of the battle they may not be very strong, but the more they use their empowered Special abilities you may find their stats raising quickly.

And those are the four main types you can see throughout the tunnels of Tierra! There are three other types of Tierra Creatures to worry about, but those will come later!
