Goals for the jam!

Hello!

So this is the game I making for the GamesForBlindGamers jam! As an audio game developer I have high standards for myself, and have some set goals I hope to accomplish for this game!

So this game is going to be heavily inspired by games like Harvest Moon and Stardew valley. As a child I spent so long playing Harvest Moon, and I greatly enjoy Stardew Valley today! But I was unable to find an audio game in these styles, or a way to make them accessible. So that's why I decided to make this game!

Here are a list of things I hope to have accomplished by the end of the jam!

1. Be able to farm, harvest, and sell 5 different crops. 

2. Navigate by sound: Every crop will be based off an instrument, and you can order them to make a sound allowing you to navigate your farm.

3. Fish: There is a limitless bounty on an invasive species of fish in the nearby lake, so get to work! 

4. Forage: Where good stewardship practices will increase the amount there is to forage and restore health to the region.

5. 3 stores: A tool store, a grocery store, and a ring store!

6. Marriage: What's a farm life sim without being able to get married? After completing the requirements and interactions with the NPC's, you can buy their ring and give it to them if you'd like! Or just collect all the rings.

7. 6 Endings! Based on who you marry and other choices, there will be 6 endings!

8. Day/night cycle.

I've already started work and I have what I feel like is a great start that gives me confidence that I'll be able to finish all these this month. Already I can navigate the farm by sound, clear away trash, buy seeds, plant crops, water them, harvest them a few days later, then sell them to repeat.
