Monthly Devlog #2 UI updates!


Hello everyone!

So this last month I've been building a GUI that is screen reader accessible from the ground up. 


The map editor is using a library to function similarly to excel, where by navigating to each cell you can manually type something in or navigate a drop down menu of applicable items. Each cell can only have one item on it, but you build the items elsewhere in the UI.


So say for Boss Encounter 1, you would assign a precombat cut scene, a battle, a post combat cut scene, then a reward. Then on the map you place Boss_encounter_1 on the map, and when the player reaches that point, the battle will trigger.

The MAP editor is already working pretty well! But since other systems aren't finished yet I don't have anything to show off, but it already reads off everything, imports from a test file of correct options, and exports to a CSV file. 


Additionally the UI for making moves and the like is in progress. Nothing crazy too report there, but hoping to have a demo of at least the rebuilt UI soon!
